Safe to Snack Cookie Dough
Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups flour
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 cup chocolate chips (or mini chocolate chips)
Directions
Cream together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and butter in stand mixer for a couple minutes. Beat in the vanilla and salt until combined. Add baked flour. The dough will be dry. Add milk slowly beat until dough starts to come together to desired consistency. You may not use the full amount of milk and that's ok.
Recipe Notes
This makes a BIG batch. This recipe, as easy as it is, makes around 4 cups of dough. If you're looking for a quick snack for one, cut it in half or into thirds.
Bake flour for 5 minutes at 350F before including in the recipe to bake off salmonella bacteria.
